SpecterAI Trains Vietnam’s First Quantum Security Experts for Post-Quantum Era

SpecterAI has successfully concluded its Train-the-Trainer initiative, certifying three key partners to offer independent quantum security training in Vietnam and Singapore. This program is designed to equip organizations for the shift to post-quantum cryptography, a critical step as the landscape of digital security evolves.

The partners newly certified to deliver this crucial training include HPT and QNet in Vietnam, along with Edmond Tung, a corporate trainer based in Singapore. They are set to provide SpecterAI’s Quantum-Safe Security Foundations course to a variety of sectors, including enterprises, financial bodies, telecommunication firms, and public-sector entities. This move comes in response to a recent advisory from Vietnam’s National Electronic Authentication Centre (NEAC), which urged businesses to brace for the post-quantum era. The NEAC warned that current public key cryptography might be compromised as quantum computing develops. By the end of June 2026, Vietnam had issued nearly 32 million digital signature certificates, underscoring the magnitude of the impending cryptographic transition.

Central to the training is guidance on assessing cybersecurity risks associated with quantum computing, employing Mosca’s Inequality (X+Y>Z). This framework assists organizations in determining how long their sensitive data needs to be secure and the time required to shift to encryption methods resistant to quantum threats. The program’s goal is to bolster regional expertise in post-quantum cybersecurity, allowing certified partners to conduct training autonomously. SpecterAI believes that proactive preparation will enhance organizational resilience, aid in meeting future security regulations, and foster the development of a robust quantum security ecosystem throughout Southeast Asia.

SpecterAI is urging sectors such as banking, finance, insurance, telecommunications, and government to start incorporating post-quantum cryptography into their long-term cybersecurity plans. By doing so, organizations can not only safeguard their operations against the evolving threats posed by quantum computing but also align with emerging security standards.
